What's The Deal With The D?

Many people do not get enough vitamin D. Low levels can contribute to weak bones or osteoporosis. If you have low vitamin D levels, your symptoms might include fatigue or muscle pain, weakness or cramps. Your immunity may be low. Or, you may have no signs or symptoms at all.

Very few foods naturally contain Vitamin D. Your skin makes vitamin D when it’s exposed to the sun. This presents a challenge in winter months.

Talk with your physician about personalizing your vitamin D supplementation, my doc says 2,000 IU every day. Don’t take very high doses, or megadoses, of vitamin D.

Select a good quality Vitamin D. The best is Vitamin D3 that is derived from
lanolin harvested from BSE-free sheep’s wool fat from New Zealand and Australia.
